When I was younger, I remember my family piling into the car and driving around to different neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights. With the price of gas so high, though, no one wants to waste that much gas, so here are some nearby light displays you can try.
The Christmas Ranch:
Where: 3205 S. Waynesville Road in Morrow, Ohio 45152
When: Open November 23, 2012 to December 31, 2012.
– Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00PM /Friday
– Saturday and Holidays from 5:00PM to 10:00PM
What: Wagon and train rides, photos with Santa, Christmas Shops, and Santa’s Bakery and Café

PNC Festival of Lights:
Where: 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45220
When: November 23 – January 1, 2013 (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
– Open Sunday through Thursday – 5:00pm – 9:00pm;
– Friday and Saturday – 5:00pm – 10:00pm
What: Walk thru light display in the zoo, train rides (You can pick up half price coupons at your local UDF for these dates: December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 & 12.)

Light Up Middletown:
Where: Smith Park, located on Tytus Avenue off Verity Parkway (SR4). (Adjacent to Middletown Regional Airport)
When: November 23 to December 31
– 6-10pm every night (regardless of weather — all holidays included)

Light up the Levee:
Where: Newport on the Levee, Newport, KY
When: November 22, 2011, through January 2, 2012
What: 18 shows will take place daily beginning at 6:10 p.m., every 20 minutes with the last show at 11:50 p.m.

Holiday in Lights:
Where: Sharon Woods, 11450 Lebanon Rd. Sharonville, OH 45241
When: November 16, 2012 to December 31, 2012
– Sunday to Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
– Friday and Saturday from 6:00pm-10:00pm
What: A drive thru light display ($12 per car & $45 per bus/van containing more than 15 passengers)
Holiday Lights on the Hill:
Where: 1763 Hamiltion-Cleves Road, State Route 128, Hamilton, Ohio 45013
When: November 22, 2012 – January 1 2013, every night including holidays.
– Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6-9 PM
– Friday and Saturday 6-10 PM
What: A drive thru light display ($20 per carload Monday-Thursday; $25 per carload Friday-Sunday)
